Canard au Poivre vert













When my husband and I had met in New York, we were going to this bistro in Chelsea "Le singe Vert" very often.  It seems like they still exist.  I remember I had this Duck with green pepper sauce and I think it was some Gratin Dauphinois on the side.  Well, I have very bad memories about everything in general except for the foods.

鴨のグリーンペパーソースは私がニューヨークのフレンチビストロで出会った料理。フランスでは鴨に甘酸っぱいソースを合わせることが多いがこの様なクリームのソースも美味しい。グリーンペッパーはかなり辛い胡椒で通常酢漬けが小瓶で売られている。
