Masuda - Shinsaibashi

This is one of the most popular Osaka Kaiseki restaurants, recently got Michelin two stars.  The tastes of each dishes were very light and delicate and I liked it.  Though my friend and I didn't exactly like the ambience of the place.  It made me feel of being in Izakaya with their way of service and the other customer.  Price is rather reasonable.

「枡田」ミシュラン２つ星の懐石料理店。予約が難しいそうで、とても期待していた。お料理は薄味で繊細な味付けでとても美味しかった。八寸の盛り付けが豪華で楽しい。福豆も卵もとても美味しかった。

ただ、サービスがイマイチ。友人は店の清潔感が気になると言っていたが、確かに客の目に付く所に天ぷら油のボトルが置いてあったり、カウンターのすぐ手前に台拭きを置いていたりと、？と思う節があった。常連客と板前さんの馴れ合いも目に付く感じだったので、高級居酒屋という感じだろうか。お値段はそれほど高くなく、お料理は美味しかった。
