Kumamoto Castle after the quake 1

I took a long walk around Kumamoto Castle to see the damage of the earthquake in April.  My overall impression was quite bad.  For the main castle, nothing had really broken but most of the roof tiles fell but the worst part was the stone walls.  Most of beautiful stone walls fell apart.

Because the castle is important cultural treasure,  they need to rebuild in the way which is used to built 400 years ago.  Of course modern technology helps to arrange things faster but they're estimating to take 20 years to rebuild those walls again..
