"Granite des herbes"

"La pomme de petit verger"

My husband took me to Les Amis; one of the top French restaurant in Singapore which gained two michelin star this year for my birthday.  I was contemplating for a while which French restaurant in Singapore I should go for the top French in Singapore between Andre, Odette and Les Amis.

Les Amis existed for many years in Singapore, one of the first French restaurant known here but reputation is fading with new comers recent years.  I was not sure about their style of cooking but I'm not a super fan of contemporary style of French in Asia so I chose this one and it was a right choice.

Their style of cooking was more conservative than I thought, compares to recent French high cuisine style but the taste was sure there.  Everything tasted so good with wonderful marriage of wine paring selections.

I thought the menu and the combinations of ingredients chef used was very classical approach but all the best and the essence of French food.  You might find it bit boring but I really loved it.
