Winter Japanese dishes - Sashimi

This winter in Kumamoto was probably one of the coldest in the history that we didn't have much winter delicacies as we used to be.  We ended up having lot of Tuna sashimi which is frozen when it catches so the quality is same all year long.  I don't know the reason that when it's too cold we don't have the fish as we used to.. probably the fisher men don't go for fishing... or too cold for the fish as well.
