Candlenut



















"Candlenut" is One michelin star restaurant of Singapore cuisine.  I was dealing to come here and my mother's visit was a great opportunity to experience good Nonya food.  Beyond the food, I really loved their decoration and the style of the space.

The food is authentic Nonya cooking which is mix of Chinese and Malay cookings with modern touch.  It was actually the first time to try Nonya restaurant for me.  I thought the taste is slightly strong for us but all the food was very well balanced and tasty.  Most of the dish were first time to try.

I thought the desserts were absolutely excellent.  Especially the chocolate plate was superb.  Overall the dining experience was wonderful and it was worth to bring my mother.

「キャンドルナッツ」ミシュラン1つ星のモダンなニョニャ料理の店。ニョニャ料理とはシンガポール独自の料理で中華の食材とマレー料理が合わさったもの。お昼のコースをとったが、プレゼンテーションも綺麗で楽しくとてもよかった。メインは全てご飯に合わせて頂くもので少し味付けが濃い。多くが初めて食べる料理だった。

そしてデザートがものすごく美味しかった。そこそこのフランスのレストランなんかよりダントツで美味しい。サービスも良いし、レストランの建物、インテリアも素敵でとても良いランチだった。
