The Shin Aso Oohashi

 

After the fall due to the earthquake in Kumamoto in 2016, the most important bridge to the Aso area has completed this year after five years of construction yet shortened one and a half-year

earlier than the original plan.

This is a very important bridge for the people in Aso so that we as people in Kumamoto have long waited.  The new bridge is much bigger, taller, and longer than before.  I'm very thankful for the people who had worked on this construction.  It's absolutely beautiful.

「新阿蘇大橋」２０１６年の熊本大地震で崩壊した阿蘇大橋は阿蘇と熊本をつなぐライフラインで、多くの人が復旧を待ち望んでいた。５年の建設期間を経て今年春に完成した。従来の橋より南にかかり、大きく、長く、高い橋になった。素晴らしい建設物だ。
