Early April in Kumamoto - End of Sakura

I went back to Japan from early April for three weeks.  I post photos chronologically to trace down my memory of my trip this time.

When I was there on April 7th, there were some Sakura flowers left on the trees.  It was really the end of Sakura but the spring light was so soft and delightful.

今回は桜には間に合わなかったものの、桜の後も景色は美しかった。名残桜と芽生えたばかりの若葉が、やわらかな春の光に包まれていた。
