Kusatsu Onsen

My mother and I went to visit Karatsu Onsen from Tokyo.  It took us about two and a half hours to get there.  Kusatsu is very famous hot spring place located in Gunma.  They're known for its quality of the water; sulfur water.  

There are numbers of stop by bathhouse around the centre of the city.  They are built with beautiful Hiknoki woods.  We went to one of the houses to take a bath.  The house was very clean and the water was very hot.

「草津温泉」母と一緒に東京から草津へ旅行した。草津へは軽井沢まで新幹線で行き、その後バスで７０分ほど。草津は硫黄水の温泉で有名だ。草津の街の中心には「湯畑」という源泉を冷ます畑がある。

周りには立寄りのお風呂屋さんが沢山あり、その中の一つに入ってみた。全面檜作りで香りも良く、とても綺麗だ。お湯が熱いので、出たり入ったりをくり返さなければいけないが、檜のベンチがあり、それもよかった。
