Ruriko In

Ruriko In is the hottest Instagram shooting location in Kyoto.  I was dared to the place because of my prior information though too many photo-taking crowds killed the atmosphere. 

Ruriko In themself takes advantage of their popularity of course.  They charge 2000 yen for the entrance fee by only by reservation.  Basically, we went there to take some photos and our entrance fee was about 1 man yen!  Does it worth it? 

「瑠璃光院」有名なインスタ映えのスポット。院とは言うものの、寺ではなく名高い避暑地であったそうだ。

全てが美しく整えられているから故に、フォトジェニックでインスタで有名な観光地となったのだろう。写真を撮る人の順番待ちで少し興醒めしてしまった。狭いので人数制限もされているが、文化財も無いのにベルサイユ宮殿並みの入場料（二千円）にも合点が行かない。。

予約を取って下さった方も苦労されたが、暗くなった時間だったので撮影も容易ではなかった。美しさはあるが、僅かな画角だけ。そのシチュエーションこそが日本的な美なのだろうか。
