Watanabe - Pontocho

 

For some reason, a few places that I've checked for lunch in Shijo was closed on Thursday. So we went into Yoshoku restaurant by chance.  We didn't expect much but actually, it was a great place.

「ワタナベ」四条でお昼を食べようと思っていた所が２箇所も休みだった。木曜はなぜか休みの店が多いらしい。そこで先斗町の入り口にあった洋食店でオムライスを頂くことにした。たまたま入ったお店だったが、思いがけず美味しかった。

先斗町は観光地なのであまり良さそうな店が無い。時間が無い時にグーグルマップでの検索は本当に便利。木屋町通りにはもっと良さそうなお店が沢山ある。
