Couronne de Noel

I've started to take "flower arrangement lessons" recently since I found this teacher who had learned about flowers in France.  She has a great style that I love, and I was very happy with the outcome of this Christmas wreath lesson.  I learned the basic composition of the "wreath" making.  I also think it's important to pick the leaves and the materials that can create harmony and to express your style and taste.

最近「フラワーアレンジメント」のレッスンを受け始めた。フランスで修行をされた先生で、彼女のお花のスタイル／センスがとても素敵で感動して習い始めた。今回は２回目で「クリスマスリース」今年のクリスマスはフランスで過ごすので、フランスまで持って行けるような、ドライになっても大丈夫そうな素材でというお願いをして材料を選んでもらった。

赤い実と白い藻のコントラストがクリスマスらしくて可愛らしいのに、ドライな物も合わさって、ナチュラルで大人な感じに仕上がって我ながら大満足！！（半分以上先生にやってもらったが）今までお花は教本などを参考に独学の自己流でやっていたが、何かが足りないことにイラダチを感じていた。やっぱり習わないと分からないことは多々あるものだと納得。
