Edinburgh

Edinburgh is an impressive city in Scotland.  We didn't know much about it but I've found it very charming and interesting.  Stone made buildings are well preserved and well-coordinated.  Especially the castle was magnificent.  

The whole town is so original that it doesn't look anywhere in the world.  I absolutely loved it.

Overall my impression of Scotland was wonderful and I've found this country is wealthy.  The road was beautiful everywhere and well maintained.  The culture is definitely different from England and I understood the reason for their wish to be independent. 

「エディンバラ」観光客も多いがとても印象的な街。石造りの建物が良い状態で保たれており、全体が整っていて美しい。街の高い所にあるエディンバラ城は荘厳とていて迫力があり、神がかっていた。

私は今回の旅でスコットランドは裕福な国である印象を受けた。街は綺麗で、道路も隅々までよく整備されている。知ってはいたが、イングランドとは文化も違う、別の国なのだ。近年イギリスからの独立運動が高まっているが、その理由がよく分る旅だった。
