Loch Ness from Fort Augustus

"The Lovat"

It was cold in Highland in May.  It was about 5c and very rainy.  Yet people there told me the place is always like this, it rains very frequently.  Loch Ness has it's a famous myth of Nessy and I understood that the myth was born because it looks very dark and bit scary.

We stayed at a hotel in Fort Augustus "The Lovat".  They had a great restaurant and the food was fantastic.

「ネス湖・フォートオーガスタス」ネス湖は本当に何か住んでいそうな雰囲気がする。Lochとは入江だが、藻が結構生えいる上に空がいつも曇っているので、黒い湖で怖い感じがする。

ネス湖は長い湖で、その南にフォート・オーガスタスという小さな村がある。この村のホテルに泊まった。ここはお料理も割と美味しくて大正解だった。
