「渡鹿の桜」

Tatsuda Yama is a mountain in Kumamoto city which is not too far from my home.  Though because it's a mountain, there are many sites of the sakura.

「龍田山」龍田山は結構広くて色んな場所がある。池の周りのしだれ桜がとても綺麗だった。

We went to Tatsuda Yama for the Ohanami this year which I visited for the first time in my life.  I was lucky to be guided by Sensei who comes to this mountain very often.  I was also very lucky that day that during Sakura bloom in Kumamoto, this day was my only day off and it was a perfect day for it.  So I made a Hanami Bento for the three of us and brought it.

The location was perfect, it had so many cherry blossoms and beautiful trees.  I'd never seen a place like this before and there were few people who were doing Hanami.

「お花見・２０２２年」今年は初めて龍田山にお花見に出かけた。丁度満開の週の水曜日が私の仕事の休みだったことで、完璧な日取りだった。龍田山はいつも散歩されていて詳しい先生が教えて下さったので、素晴らしい場所でお花見することができた。

熊本にこんな場所があったなんて知らなかった。人もそれほど多くなくて桜が沢山咲いていて本当に美しい日だった。ほんの１日の楽しみだが、本当に日本人で良かったなと思う瞬間だった。

Not every day was sunny to take photos of the Sakura but it was relatively nice weather during the time we had it.

毎日がお天気だった訳では無かったが、比較的写真は撮りやすかった。

The first bloom of Sakura

It has been a month since we had Sakura bloom in Kumamoto.  Ever since those days, I've been very busy posting photos on this blog because there are so many photos to choose from.  

「桜の始まり」３月２５日辺りから熊本の桜が咲き始めた。その頃から毎日カメラを持って撮影していたが、忙しくて投稿する間が無いまま、ひと月が経ってしまった！今年は気候涼しくて良く、じわじわと咲き始めて長持ちしたと思う。

 

The Flower Tunnel

 

It was a surreal experience when I went through this tunnel; this was one of the biggest exhibitions of the flower event and it was only held for three days on the weekend.  I was lucky to catch the time even after my work.

「お花のトンネル」花博開始イベントで私が楽しみにしていたのがこの「花トンネル」すごかった！切花の数と種類が多くてとても華やか。現実離れした体験だった。コロナ対策で距離を空けての入場だったので、写真もゆっくり撮ることができた。

この花の種類と色の多いこと！こんなに花を見たのは初めて！
