Kikuchi Onsen

 

I love Kikuchi for its Onsen.  There is a famous bath in the centre of the city.  Though there is really nothing besides the onsen...

On the way to the onsen, there is an egg farm that sells everything made with eggs.  Their "egg icecream" is absolutely delicious!

「菊池温泉」菊池の「城の井温泉」が好きでわざわざ行くことがあるのだが、色々街を見て回る時間は無かった。それにしても何も無い田舎で、コロナになって以来余計に寂れたように思う。

コッコファームの「たまごソフトクリーム」が絶品なので是非食べてみてほしい。卵の濃厚な味とバターキャラメルの様な香りとコクが素晴らしい。温泉から上がって頂くのが贅沢の極み！
