Ayu; Locally farmed river fish is one of the delicacies in Kumamoto in the early summer.  I love them grilled or soya sauced cooked.  I was going to have them more in later in the month but I missed them.

「鮎焼き」７月は鮎。養殖だがとても美味しい。早速第一弾で塩焼き会をした。私は鮎が大好きなので、その後も稚魚などを山椒煮にしようと思っていたが、今年は忙しかったか故か出会わずに終わってしまった。山椒を用意していたのに！亀萬の夏純米が割とサラリとしていて良し。
