Nishime


 This is the vegetable platter dish we usually make in summer during the Buddhist festival. The dish has to be made with only vegetables so it takes time to make it better.  It has to set the taste overnight.

「にしめ」お盆にはにしめを作る。ほし筍の戻しが不十分だったのが良くなかったが、まあまあ美味しくできた。にしめは1晩置かないと美味しく無いので、前の日に作る。
