Farfalle with salmon in vodka sauce










Vodka sauce is mix of tomato sauce and cream with little bit of vodka.  You can often find this in the U.S. but I haven't really seen it else where.  Japanese people also like the combination of tomato sauce with cream but we call it as "Tomato cream".  This goes very well with crabs.  I added smoked salmon and some dills with the vodka sauce.  I think this is a great combination, everything match perfectly together.

「ファルファッレとサーモンのウォッカソース」はショートパスタとスモークサーモンをトマトクリームで和えたもの。「ウォッカソース」とはトマトソースとクリームが合わさったもので、ウォッカが少量入る。アメリカでは大人気のパスタソースだが、他の国ではあまり聞かないと思う。
