Ezuko in February

I'm in Japan for this month to enjoy the cold weather.  I really love the cold season rather than being in hot weather.  Though the climate in Japan is getting very extreme in recent years; it's very hot in the summer and also it's very cold in the winter.

My parents told me it's been an extremely cold winter this year.  The high of the temperature is around 3c.

「２月の江津湖」寒い季節が好きなので、一番寒い２月に帰国している。近年日本の季節は極端になっていて、夏は猛暑で冬も極寒。今年は特に寒いそうで、熊本でも最高気温が２、３度の時がある。

江津湖には鴨がたくさんいた。鴨は毎年冬になると北（シベリア辺り）から比較的暖かい九州へ渡ってくる渡り鳥だが、熊本でも寒そうだ。
