Anthony Bourdain

I'm very sad to hear the news of Anthony Bourdain passed away on a cause of suicide.  I watched his show so much when I was young when I was in the U.S... I spent my youth in the U.S. for nine years.  I really loved his TV shows on food network.  Even I don't watch Amerian TV shows after I came back to Asia, I've been watching his new shows on the plane or internet.  I loved his New Yorker accent and his adventures of the new shows...

「アンソニー・ボーディン」自殺で亡くなったというニュースを聞いてショックと同時にとても悲しい。私は１８歳から１０年アメリカにいた。若い時、フードネットワークで彼のテレビ番組をとてもよく見ていた。それ以後もネットや飛行機の中の番組などで見つけると必ず見る番組だった。

エキセントリックな人だという印象だが、番組はとても興味深くて面白かったし、彼のニューヨーカーアクセントとニューヨーカーな話し方が好きだった。フランス系のアメリカ人で、ひいひいお爺さんがフランスから南米グワテマラに渡り、その後アメリカに渡った家系であるという彼のヒストリーの番組を見たことがある。今日亡くなったのはフランスのストラスブルグのホテルだったそうだ。
