Spicy salt Spanish mackerel

Spanish mackerel is one of the most popular fish in Singapore.  I bought a small but whole fish the other day and made a pan-fried dish.  The fish is so much tastier than I expected.  I don't buy them often but I thought that I should do it more..

「さわらのスパイス焼き」鰆はシンガポールではよく食べられる魚。フィッシュボールスープのつみれは鰆で作るし、マレーシア料理でもよく食べられる。ただ１尾買うのは重いので、あまり買っていなかったが、小さめのを久しぶりに買ってみた。

この小さめのものが驚くほど美味しかった。身がプリプリでふっくらしている。日本で頂く鰆は少しパサついているイメージがあったのだが、これはとてもしっとりしていた。大きな魚なので、１日目はこのスパイス焼きにした。
