English pub

My sister and her husband took me to a local pub where their foods had a good reputation.  It was a wonderful surprise for me to find that the dishes were so delicious there... since I was not expected to eat well in England.

Especially Chicken pot pie was so good.  This is very known home food in the U.S as well. Yet this one was the first really good one I ever had.

Day in June in Europe is very long, the sun sets at 10pm.  We could walk back in the neighbourhood.

「パブ」妹夫婦が地元でお料理が美味しいという評判のパブに連れて行ってくれた。ビールもさながら、英国料理が美味しくて驚いた。イギリスには食べ物をあまり期待していなかったので、とても感激した。

キチンポットパイはアメリカにもよくある料理で、今まであまり美味しいものを頂いたことが無かったが、これはとても美味しかった。

イギリスもフランスも６月はとても日が長く、夜１０時まで明るい。この時期に旅行するとゆっくりご飯を食べても歩いて帰る事ができるのもいい。
