Marche du Narbonne

Narbonne is a small town; commune of Languedoc where it's known for the big fish market because it's close to the Mediterranean Sea.  We always go there to buy good fishes.  We were expecting guests for dinner so we went there to buy good fish and vegetables.

It's not a first time to come here yet I was surprised to see so many kinds of fish and seafood are sold in the market.  Other than the market, Narbonne is a small but cute place to take a small walk.

「ナルボン」地中海から近い中世の町。魚のよいマルシェがあることで有名なところだ。この週ゲストが来ることになっていたので、よい魚を求めて買い出しに来た。よく見るとフランスの魚屋も、香港と変わらないほど多くの種類の魚介類を揃えている。色んな食材を楽しめることが食文化の深さなのかもしれない。
