Fava beans and salmon pasta


I love fava beans.  I really love the flavor of this beans.  I believe it's best to eat them grilled but they are very tasty in any way of cooking.  Unfortunately it seems like there is no fresh fava beans imported in Hong Kong so I used frozen package.  Also I didn't have enough of them so I added frozen Edamame as well.

I made this pasta with fava beans, Edamame (soya beans) and Japanese salmon flakes (usually to put over rice).  I used salmon flakes but I thought I could make one with bacon as well.

「空豆と鮭フレークのパスタ」私の大好きな空豆の季節だが、生の豆は残念ながら香港には無く、輸入もされていないようだ。冷凍の空豆、豆が足りなかったので枝豆も足して鮭フレークと一緒にパスタを作った。新鮮な空豆があったら鮭など使わずに豆のゆで汁と上等のパルメザンチーズで仕上げると、もっと美味しいパスタが出来たと思う。冷凍だったらベーコンと作ってもよいだろう。
