Tarte aux fraises

We started to have strawberries imports from the U.S. and I realized that this is the season of strawberries now.  As I'm in Singapore, I have no sense of season, but I'm always craving for it.

I like American strawberries for dessert.  They're not too sweet as Japanese ones so it goes very well with tart.

「苺のタルト」最近アメリカから輸入される苺の質がよくなってきたので、北半球は苺の季節なのかと感じる。シンガポールにいると全く季節感がない。シンガポールの食材は１００％輸入で、マレーシア、インドネシア、オーストラリア、アメリカなどの産地の食材が多い。アメリカの苺は硬くて酸っぱいのでデザートに向いていてタルトとよくあう。
