Cucumber and Shrimp in Mayonnaise













This is a simple salad of cucumber, boiled shrimp, boiled egg in Mayonnaise sauce.  I used Japanese "Kyupi" Mayonnaise.  This sauce tastes so good and I believe that this is the best already made mayonnaise sauce.  It goes very well with sandwich.  Whenever I have time, I try to make the sauce by myself, especially with the dish emphasize the mayonnaise, it's better to make it at home.  If you're using french mayonnaise sauce, sometimes it's better to add some vinegar.  American mayonnaise sauce is somewhat sweet, and I don't recommend to make the salad with it.

「キュウリとエビとタマゴのマヨネーズ和え」これはキューピーマヨネーズで和えただけの簡単サラダ。少量の米酢と白醤油を加えて、さらっと和えた。マヨネーズ和えはあまり好きではないのだけど、忙しい時には助かる。エビをボイルした後にレモンと塩で下味を付けて馴染ませておくと引き締まった味になる。
