Nakadake is the name of one of the mountains in Aso.  I like the colour and the shape of this mountain.  The second photo is the volcanic basin of the Aso mountain.  It's active for recent years and has smoke constantly.

「根子岳」阿蘇山は世界でも最大級のカルデラ山で、阿蘇五岳が外輪山に囲まれれドーナツ状に形成されている。根子岳は五岳の一つで、その特徴的な形と色合いで地元の人に愛されている山だ。

阿蘇の山の色は四季美しい。ススキの枯れた白めの黄金色、常緑樹の深い茶緑色、火山灰の土の濃い黒茶色の色の組み合わせが冬の熊本の色だと思う。写真は高森「月回り温泉」から
