Matsuya - Kanda

I was longing to go to this kind of old soba shop that you can drink from lunchtime.  I came here with my sister on holiday so there were many people having soba with drinks.  Without hesitation, we ordered a bottle of beer and Yuba.

The soba itself was delicious as well.  We didn't spend much time there but it was a wonderful lunch.

「まつや」この日は妹と二人で神田にある老舗の蕎麦屋へ。かなりの有名店なので並ぶが、早目に行ったので然程待たなかった。祝日だったからか、早い昼の時間でも驚くほど客が皆飲んでいた。私達もすかさずビールを注文。ビールは小皿のヘリに付けられた焼き味噌と一緒に出てきた。肴に頼んだ湯葉刺しが絶品だった。

昼から蕎麦屋で一杯、なんとも言えない優雅な気分になる。相席だった前の客が「池波正太郎の世界だなぁ」と小声で話していた。多くの人が外で並んでいるのでゆっくりするのも悪く、その後はさっと鴨南蛮を頂いた。蕎麦も出汁も正統派の東京の薮蕎麦で美味しかった。
