Pumpkin with bacon

This is made from Japanese "Potiron" cooked with soya sauce and sweet sake.  Japanese pumpkin is already somewhat sweet, and it goes very well with sweet soya sauce.  Usually this dish is made with ground beef, but I also think pumpkin goes well with pork.

「カボチャとベーコンの煮物」私は九州出身なので、煮物には薄口醤油を使う事が多い。薄口醤油、だしとみりんで仕上げた。ベーコンの香りはこっくりとしたカボチャとよく合うと思う。
