"Furofuki daikon" is daikon radish cooked in dashi and served with miso paste. This is usually a winter dish because the season of radish is winter. This is very simple dish but it takes long hour to cook well. I added umeboshi which is sour plum pickles in miso paste to make the sauce slightly sour.
「夏のふろふき大根」冬の料理だが、久しぶりに作ってみた。夏向きに爽やかさを出すために味噌に梅肉を入れ、梅味噌にした。ふろふき大根は米のとき汁で炊く時間と出汁で味を染ませる時間を入れたらかなり時間のかかる料理だ。
