Poireau vinaigrette

This is probably one the best way to eat leeks.  Steamed leek with vinaigrette sauce.  Western leeks are slightly different from Japanese leeks, they are thicker and bigger.  This is the best way to eat western leeks.

「ポロネギのヴィネグレットソース」これはフレンチでは定番のネギ料理。冬にかけてポロネギが美味しい季節だ。これはネギを蒸してヴィネグレットソースをかけたもの。ポロネギは日本のネギにくらべて身が厚く、しっかりしているので、蒸すととても美味しい。貧乏人のアスパラガスと言われているが、季節のものは甘みも高くてとても美味しい。
