Pork balls miso soup

As many people knows Miso soup is a soul food for Japanese people.  There are many styles of Miso soup, the one made with pork is called "Ton jiru".  We dont' usually put meat balls but to use thin sliced pork.  Because I couldn't buy sliced pork that day, I happend to make meat balls with ground pork and minced onions inside.

「豚汁」香港も少し寒くなってきたので、具沢山の豚汁が食べたくなった。しかし今回はインターナショナルな豚汁になってしまった。我が家の近くのスーパーには豚肉の薄切り肉がないので、挽肉にネギのみじん切りを練り込んで、団子にした。野菜は白菜、大根、人参とごぼう。夫も喜ぶ食べ応えのある豚汁でとても美味しく出来た。
