Kagoshima - Fukiagehama

My mother and I went to Onsen in Kagoshima this time.  Kagoshima located south of Kumamoto.  We went there by a car; took about 2 1/2 hours.

Fukiage hama is a coast of East China sea which is the opposite side of Kagoshima city. I very impressed by the view of the vast beach.  There were absolutely no one and the nature was preserved very well.  I love the coast or a beach there is no one around.  I wish I could take a long walk but it was too hot in this season.

「吹上浜」７月半ば、母と鹿児島の吹上温泉へ出かけた。鹿児島へは熊本から車で２時間半。温泉に到着後、数キロ離れた浜の方に散歩に出かけた。なんとなくイメージで海が綺麗だろうと思いながら下調べもせずに海へ向かったが、この浜は思いがけなく美しい所だった。

東シナ海に開けた浜が広大で、とても日本の景色だとは思えなかった。何キロにも伸びる浜には防波堤もなく自然そのもの。人が１人もいなく不思議な場所だった。時季的に暑かったが、素晴らしい秘境。
