Gyoza



Gyoza; dumpling is one of the most popular Chinese dish in Japan.  We cook then in pan but it usually boiled in China.  Pan cooked style is more popular in north of China.  I've found the Gyoza skin in local super market in Singapore, written as Shanghai style skin.  I knew it was for boiled style dumpling but I cooked in pan.  It was great!

「餃子」近くのスーパーには、何種類かの餃子の皮が売っている。どれも水餃子用の皮だが、まぁいいかと日本式の餃子の様に焼いてみた。これは上海皮とあって、少しプルプルしている生地だ。茹でたらつるっとするタイプの生地だが、焼いても結構美味しかった。
