Tsukushi is glass buds that we only find in certain places such as on the mountain or riverside. It doesn't have much taste but we eat them as a delicacy of Spring. There are many of them on the riverside that is very close to my work.
「つくし狩り」私の職場は白川沿いにあり、3月半ば頃、その土手にはつくしや大根の花が沢山生えていた。仕事の合間に取りに行って、みんなでお浸し用に湯がいた。大して味はしないのだが、なんだか美味しかった。土手には桜も咲いて本当に良い環境なのだ。こんな風に季節の仕事が出来る事に幸せを感じる。
