Ueno Toshogu

I was always thinking that "Toshogu" is the one in Nikko but this one is also "Toshogu".  Then I've learned that "Toshogu" means the shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu.

「上野東照宮」東照宮といば日光のだと思っていたので、なぜこんな所にもあるのか疑問だったが、徳川家康をお祭りする神社は全て東照宮というそうだ。
