Early Summer in Aso

 

What a beautiful view of June in Aso Mountain!  The view of the rice field is light green and shiny with water.  Rice has to be planted in the water in early summer so the field becomes the mirror of the mountain.

「初夏の阿蘇」田植えが終わったばかりの阿蘇の田園風景。水田が新緑、山と空の初夏の色を映し出す。黄緑色と水の色のコントラストが素晴らしい。少し傾いた午後の陽もキラキラ輝いている。まだそんなに暑くない梅雨の晴れ間。どんな季節にも美しさがある。
