Summer Japanese dishes - summer beans

 

I don't know why but about the end of June, there was a time beans were so good for some reason.  They were absolutely tasty, fresh, full of taste, and sweet.

「夏の豆」６月の終わり頃、やたらと豆が美味しい時期があった。豆なんてどんな国にもどんな季節にもあるものだが、これらは驚くほど美味しかった。味が濃く、甘い。ただ茹でて食べるだけで美味しい！と感じる美味さだった。
