I happend to find a small Tuna fish in a local supermarket. I was very excited to see the whole Tuna fish and bought immediately. The price was very reasonable as well. It costed about S$8.50.
I fillet the fish in a way we fillet "Katsuo" fish in Japan. You need to have a big fish knife to take off the head. The quality of the fish was good as well, that I could almost eat in fresh.
「マグロ」ローカルスーパーで、40cmくらいのマグロを見つけた。量ってもらったらこれで800円くらい。テンション上がって即買い。帰って直ぐにさばいてみた。カツオを下ろす要領で柵に。写真右下は中落ち。出刃包丁が大活躍だ。
身割れしてしまったが、魚の鮮度はそこそこ良く、刺身までいかずともタタキくらいでは十分食べられる。まずは薄く塩をして身を締めた。
