Tsukiji

I visited Tsukiji just for my interest after having lunch at Ginza.  Tsukiji is not far from Ginza and there are many sushi and seafood lunch shops.  Yet there are too many tourists these days.  Tsukiji is the largest fish market in the world but shops are only open in the early morning.  There are billions of small shops inside and had no idea how all the shops are arranged.

「築地」東銀座でランチをした後に築地まで足を伸ばしてみた。築地の卸売り店は早朝にしか開いていないが、以前見て圧倒された思い出があるので再訪してみた。来年にも豊洲に移転する予定だが、移転は反対が多かったようだ。しかしはっきり言って移転して、新しく清潔に整備した方がよいと思う。歴史があり、小さい卸売店がひしめき合う独特の雰囲気があるが、食品を扱う市場としては清潔感に欠ける。

場外の飲食店には、多くの観光客が列をなしていた。場外の商店街は移転後も変わらないようだ。
