Beppu - Oita

We went to have lunch at Beppu after leaving Yunohara.  Beppu is one of the old Onsen regions, it was popular in the 70s and 80s.  Now there are many unused empty hotel buildings are still left by the bay.  The ambience is similar to Atami.  Though out lunch at hotel Seikai was excellent.

「別府」湯の原の後は別府へ行ってみた。ホテル晴海のランチプランがおすすめと聞いていたので、予約をしておいた。別府は初めて訪れたが、熱海とよく似ている。高度成長期に流行ったような、大型のホテルの廃墟が多く、廃れた雰囲気が独特だ。ただこのホテルのランチは良かった。大分のすっきりとした上品な味付けで、お刺身と釜飯がとても美味しかった。
