Daikon Oden


This is hardly a Japanese Oden because I didn't put any fish cakes but it was good enough to me.  I cooked Japanese daikon and yam with chicken in Konbu stock.  We eat Oden in winter very often.

「簡素おでん」練り物を一つも入れていないので、おでんとも言えないものだが、新鮮な日本の大根があったので大根メインで作ったもの。昆布をたっぷり使った出汁が鶏と合わさってとても美味しかった。
