We've found a nice soba place in Yamaga; a small town outside of Kumamoto city. It takes two stops of the highway. Soba is somewhat the local style but everything was very well prepared in a generous portion.
「手打ちそば・たか木」山鹿にある有名な蕎麦店。噂は聞いていたが初めて行ってみた。お店はおしゃれで、蕎麦も天ぷらも上品で美味しかった。東京や信州のスタイルでもなく、熊本の肥後蕎麦でもない独自な感じ。量も割とたっぷりだ。
