「三位一体（マサッチオ）」

Santa Maria Nuvella is probably the main and biggest church in Florence.  I was very surprised to see the church so big and absolutely beautiful.  I didn't post all the photos I took, but there are six individual chapels on each side.  Each room has its own decorations of certain stories of the bible.

「サンタ・マリア・ノヴェッラ」１３世紀頃からのヴェネチアの繁栄の象徴の一つでもあり、フィレンツェで恐らく最も大きくて美しい教会。外壁も大理石のタイルでとても美しいが、中に入ると今まで体験した事のない美しい空間に驚いた。

規模がとても大きな教会で、両横には６つの祭壇があり、それぞれ天井まで聖画が描かれている。美とカトリックの歴史の空間に圧倒される。写真は沢山撮ったが、これから訪れる人のこと考えてあまり載せない事にする。

この教会には有名な聖画、マサッチオの「三位一体」の画がある。三位一体とはカトリックのお祈りにもある、「父と子と精霊（信仰）」の事。
