Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Flore

This is the inside of the so-called "Florence Cathedral".  Inside is rather simple compares to the outside decorations.  Yet the size of the cathedral is vast and the space is astonishing.

「サンタ・マリア・デル・フィオーレ」所謂フィレンツェのドゥオモがありフィレンツェで一番象徴的な大聖堂。今回のイタリア記の初めの投稿にある大聖堂の中の写真。ここは外装の詳細なデコレーションに比べて内装は意外とシンプル。

クリスマス時期であった事で、キリスト誕生の小屋が特設されていたのを拝見できたのは幸運だった。
