Palazzo Pitti

I didn't have much knowledge about this palace beside "Uffizi", about the museum of Florence, so I was very surprised to see Versailles like palace because it didn't look like it at all from the outside.

It's to say that the Medici family collected most of the important Art of Italy from the 16th century for 400 years after.

「ピッティ宮殿」トスカーナ公の宮殿として１５００年代半ばから存在する宮殿で、メディチ家が４００年に渡り収集したイタリア美術のコレクションを展示している。

外観は地味なのに、内装が派手で驚いた。最終的にこの形式の装飾になったのは恐らく１９世記だと思われる。豪華絢爛で美しいのだが、これでもか！という絢爛美のコテコテの色彩と装飾を見て、出口の頃には若干の眼精疲労をを感じた。
