I knew about this museum since I was very young and this was the museum I've belonging to visit. I didn't know that word "Uffizi" means an office in English that this building was an office of Administration of Toscany.
「ウッフィツ美術館」フィレンツェでは一番に楽しみにしていた所。初めにこの美術館の事を知ったのは中学生くらいに読んだ漫画だったと思う。元々トスカーナのオフィス（官庁）であったそうだ。
ボッティチェリやミケランジェロの傑作もしかり、廊下が美しい事で有名だ。天井の絵画と格子戸の様な窓の採光がとても美しい。
