Gala Placido Domingo

Our purpose of visiting Milan this time was to attend Opera and Gala of Placido Domingo. This probably was the last Gala of his.  It was absolutely stunning to hear his voice that so powerful at his age of 78. It was the most memorable music experience for me.

We've asked the arrangement of tickets to the couple we came together because they attend opera at Scala for so many times.  It's important to reserve tickets online on the day of sale.

「プラシド・ドミンゴ・ガラ」今回私達のミラノの旅の目的は主にスカラ座でのオペラ観賞。もしかするとドミンゴ最後となるかもしれない今回のガラは一晩のみの公演で、とても貴重な体験だった。

スカラ座は外観はとても質素だが、内装は美しい。記念すべき公演でもあったので、観客が華麗に着飾っていて美しく、目を奪われる光景だった。

ドミンゴは恩年７８歳であるそうだ。若い人に比べると声の響きが劣るものの、オペラ座で公演できる声量を保っているのが奇跡だと思う。アンコール後の出演者全員でのコーラスは圧巻だった。

それからさらに４０分ほど拍手に答えて出たり入ったりが繰り返され、最後はアカペラで歌われた。今回の公演のソプラノ、テノール、バスの歌手の声もとても美しく、夢の様なひと時だった。
