This is Taiwanese sticky rice wrapped with bamboo leaf which my friend's mother had made. I've always loved this dish and when I went to visit my friend, her mother gave many of them to bring back to Hong Kong. I've tried to make by myself but it could never be better as hers. I'd really like to learn how to make this next time when I visit her.
「台湾のちまき」これは前回台湾に行った時に、友人のお母さんからお土産に頂いた手作りのちまき。私は昔から中華ちまきが大好きで色々な所のものを頂いたが、やっぱり手作りのものが一番美味しい。大きな豚の角煮と栗の甘煮、乾燥エビ、貝柱等が入り、五香と八角の香りがよく効いていてとても美味しかった。
